Siloso Point Mega Fun ~ by Tejas
We took a cable car to Siloso Point, which is
part of Sentosa Island. At Siloso Point
there are three beaches Tanjong, Palawan, and Siloso. While we were there we decided to go to Mega
Adventure. There were three things you could
do the Mega Bounce, Mega Climb, and Mega Zip. Jovan and I did the Mega Climb and my Dad did the Mega Zip while Nix and
Mom played at Siloso Beach, because Nix sadly didn’t weigh enough to do Mega anything. The Mega Climb is a small zip line track that
has three levels. Jovan and I did the second
and the third levels. Also, we weren’t
allowed to go on the zip line without socks but when we went to Australia Air
Canada gave us these small pouches with a pair of socks, a toothbrush, and
toothpaste. Jovan and I accidentally left
it in our bag after the flight and realized that we still had them in our bag.
Air Canada to the rescue! The Mega Zip
is 450m long, you start at the climb area and go over the forest and over
Siloso Beach. You are attached in a harness and hook and unhook the more you
want to climb up. It was a bit scary because there were a lot of wood planks to
walk over, even one that was side ways and I actually fell off and had to pull
myself back up.
Sentosa Station 4D Adventure ~ by Nix
After getting off the cable car to Sentosa
Island the first thing we did was the 4D Log Ride Adventure. We had to line up and
get tickets and we went into a dark room it had a screen that had a video. The video taught us the rules. Two doors opened and we went into the doors where
there was a giant screen and there was 60 seats
grouped in 3. My brothers and me
sat together. The 4D part was we were all logs that went to the shredding company and
got lost in the waterfall with crocodiles in the water. It was very bumpy,
moving side to side, and up and down. We had to wear 4D glasses. It was fun!
Merlion Station VR ~ by Jovan
After
the Mega Climb that Tejas and I went to, since we did what we wanted to do we
were
Plaza, another place to go on the cable car on the island. When we got to the VR place we used the VR goggles and chose to go on the Extreme Train Ride. In the virtual roller coaster it was a slow roller coaster up, very steep, and then down really fast. It was scary, like really, really scary because there were VR dinosaurs and nearly bit my butt off. It felt really real as if I was on a real roller coaster! I can’t wait to do it again!
