The Brisbane Heat!

Last night we went to a Cricket game in Brisbane.  We saw the Brisbane Heat play against the Sydney 6ers.  It was awesome!  The Brisbane Heat is Brisbane’s Cricket team.  Brisbane Heat is approaching it’s ninth season in the Big Bash League.  The Big Bash League is the Australian Cricket division.  The home stadium of the Brisbane Heat is the Gabba.  The Gabba is home of the Brisbane Heat, Brisbane Lions, and the Queensland Bulls.  The Gabba was established in 1895.  It seats 42,000 people.  We went with my dads work friends.  At half time they had a light show with fireworks, lights, and fire.  There was a dance cam that would record people dancing.  There are five restaurants there, for take away food only (that means food to go) We had french fries and ice cream.  In the end we had lots of fun and we learned more about how to play Cricket. They didn’t make it to the semi-finals this year, but they might next year. All in all it was a great day, I really enjoyed it.
